“Bone sets the tone, Tissue is the Issue, but the Restoration is the FOUNDATION!”
The second biggest problem in modern implant dentistry, after peri-implantitis, is nonpathologic bone and soft tissue loss. A lot has changed since 1996, when the Toronto Study showed that single implant tooth replacement was an effective treatment. It is no longer enough to accept Implant Survival, today our patients expect nothing less than long term success.
We now recognize that the key to long term success is careful attention to the implant supported RESTORATION, particularly for single esthetic-zone teeth. This presentation will cover the evidence-based rationales for the way we restore our implants today for long term success. And we will look at how all the most up to date evidence has been brought together into one implant design, the PRAMA implant from Sweden & Martina.
